Meet the Team

Robert Clemens
Owner/Trainer
Hi my name is Rob Clemens! I am from Milan, IN and have competed and trained horses for most my life. I have competed in all-around cowboy competitions, barrel racing and cattle sorting and have won many awards and buckles throughout my life. Through working with horses, I have learned how to use a supple hand and work off pressure and relief. I have also started many colts in my years and started my last one this past year. I have spent my lifetime working with kids, my own children competed in barrel racing and all the 4H horse events you could imagine. Lauren and I have a passion for working with horses and people, and we want to help others find the same passion. Safety is our number one priority; we hope that everyone who comes to our facility feels welcome and most importantly has fun!
Harlow Arthur
Barn Help
Hello! My name is Harlow Arthur. I am 4 years old and have been riding for 1 year with my Pap Pap, Rob Clemens, as my trainer. I have owned Butterscotch for 6 month and I love him so much. He is the most gentle and loving pony I could ever ask for. I love spending my weekends at the Ranch following Robert and Lauren around as the tend to the needs of all the animals. I'm their number one stall cleaner and animal feeder.
Scaredy Cat
Barn Cat/Help
Scaredy Cat has been a member of the ranch for 2 years now. He was brought home to Harlow when he was just a kitten. He has grown with the animals over the years and does his duty as a barn cat.

Meet the Animals

Moonshine
Quarter Horse
Moonshine arrived at Clemens Corral when he was 2 years old, and he has been with us for almost two years. He is a dappled bay quarter horse. Rob started him as a colt and has turned out to be one of the best horses he has ever owned. He still likes to act like a toddler and can easily push your buttons, but he’s to pretty to ever be mad at for long.
Poncho
Paint Gelding
Poncho has been at Clemens Corral for 7 years, but he has been in the family for even longer. He is around 14 years old and a black and white paint gelding. He is currently being used by Lauren in barrel racing. He is kind and sweet on the ground but loves to turn on the speed when it’s time to ride!
Butterscotch
Mini Palomino Paint
Butterscotch is our miniature pony; he has been at Clemens Corral for around 6 months. He is a 3-year-old palomino paint with Miss Harlow as his proud owner. Butterscotch is great for young children to learn horse basics and how to ride on. He may be young but he is very even tempered and loves his neck scratches! Write to Lauren Altum
Shorty
Palomino Paint
Shorty is the newest addition to the Clemens Corral family. He is a 10-year old palomino paint gelding and quite the gentle giant. Shorty will be used as our lesson horse and is safe for any level rider! Though his name is shorty, he is a stout 15.2 hand tall and is ready for any level rider, at any age to learn on him.
